Real estate agent is an industry professional who facilitates real estate transactions under a brokerage.


Brokers may work to start their own brokerage and employ agents to work for 


them.


An agent works only under a brokerage and cannot work independently, but Broker’s training allow them to work independently or facilitate property transactions or own a brokerage.



Real estate agents helps in submitting offers and negotiation & brokers help technical aspects of sales.


 


Biggest difference is that real estate brokers can work as a agent but real estate agents can’t work as a broker, unless and until they have a brokers license.
